|GRIDPLUS - Clear|
GRIDPLUS provides a command/mode to clear the contents of a specified window, and to remove all references (including the associated values in the null named array) to GRIDPLUS widgets for the specified window.
The GRIDPLUS clear command/mode should be called when a toplevel window is closed/destroyed (See the GRIDPLUS window command/mode page for an example).
Example: gridplus clear .mytoplevel
...will clear the toplevel window named ".mytoplevel".
The GRIDPLUS clear command/mode should also be used to clear the root/main window before displaying different contents.
Example: gridplus clear .
It is also possible to clear a window while retaining the associated values in the null named array, though this is not likely to be useful:-
Example: gridplus clear .mywindow -variables 0
