GRIDPLUS provides a command/mode to add non-GRIDPLUS widgets (Which support a -state option) to a GRIDPLUS group. GRIDPLUS groups allow named groups of widgets to have their state set (normal/disabled) using a single command (See Using Groups to Set The State of Widgets).

Example: gridplus add .mywidget -group mygroup

...will add the widget named ".mywidget" to group "mygroup".

It is then possible, for example, to set the state of all widgets in "mygroup" to disabled:-

gridplus set -group mygroup -state disabled
