An action consists of a screen and/or a process.
Identifies an item -or- menubar option group. Groups can be used to activate items and menu options depending on the value of the current group. The current group is set using the setGroup command.
When a child window is created as "modal" none of the other windows which are part of the same application can be selected until the modal window closes.
This can be useful for dialog boxes to which the user must respond before any other part of the application is used/run.
Item name must conform to the name format. Upper/lower case alpha characters (A-Z), digits (0-9), underscore (_) and colon (:) are valid. Spaces are not allowed.
The following rules are applied:-
If a button has the name add:Add_Disk
Item name prefixes can be used for two purposes.
The state of the GUI can be either normal or disabled. The state is set according to the access defined for the action in the profile associated with the user.
By default all modifiable display items, buttons and menus are set to disabled when the access is set to "disabled". All of the modifiable display items, buttons and menus can override this behavior.
The state system allows the same screen to be used for both read-only and update users.
