Like HTML, SAT/ML provides a method to print characters which are not available through the keyboard -or- otherwise have a special meaning to SAT/ML.

The method is the similar to that used by HTML, however, only named entities are supported.

Each special character is represented by an bang/exclaim (!) followed by a symbolic name, terminated with a colon (:). For example !clock: will be replaced by a picture of a clock.

NOTE: Many of these special characters require printers which support the "WingDings" font.
